Pros:

It exists as a kit and no other F355 does that I know of. A few aspects of the kit are quite nicely detailed and well moulded. Decals are good.

Cons:

Wheels are plated in some horrible (and horrible to remove) toy-like chrome. Rear windows don't fit at all leaving big gaps. Side windows also don't fit and leave gaps so large I just removed them entirely. Wheels are a little to small for the arches. General fit and finish of the kit is not that great. Some details like the tow-hooks are supplied as decals. Rollcage looks very thin and is hard to assemble with poor gluing points.

Verdict:

Not for a beginner due to some fit/finish issues that need work to resolve. It does build up into something quite good with a bit of effort.

Build notes:

Scratch built side windows to replace the awful Fujimi ones. Many 3rd party decals from a multitude of sources. More parts extend the details of the interior than I could list, but to name a few: Seatbelts, Fire extinguishers, hoses, cable, door straps, rollcage padding, kevlar door liners, switch and electricals.Tow hooks are scratch-built. Driver is Tamiya. Exterior paint is Tamiya Gun Metal front and Tamiya TS97 Pearl Yellow atthe back, with a Tamiya TS13 clearcoat over the top.
