The unsubtle bodykit made this version of the 350Z appealing. And it has no rust unlike the one I used to own. I didn't 100% care for the Top Secret style and all of the decals so I decided to make a few changes.
More or less everything. It all fits together without problems. Not much cleanup - only a few feint separation lines to be sanded off. Nicely detailed interior and underside.
As is often the case on Aoshima kits, the tabs for attaching the bumpers are tiny and need reinforcement. But that's it. Also standard Aoshima is curbside: No engine. No other cons.
Pretty much as good as a kit can be except for not having an engine.
Built over two and a half weeks in September 2026, this was the 6th oldest kit in my stash. I've used only some of the kit decals, added some of my own, added seatbelt retainers, air valves on the wheels and carpets on the inside and the boot liner. The carbon fibre roof is Hasegawa self-adhesive and the whole car is painted with Halfords M3-680 paint. The car has been re-stanced with a few minor changes/additions, to make the track wider and the car less slammed overall. One thing that bugs me that I could not change is the intentionally-mirror image decal down the drivers side of the car, Itried putting oit on flipped but t would not stick.
