Pros:

Shape is good. The kit exists - not many Kei vans have apeared as kits. Wheels steer.

Cons:

Curbside. Some of the engineering of the kit could have made assembly and painting a lot easier. Door mirros only mount one way and that way leaves them looking droopy. Interior is a tub and lacks any door details whatsover. There's no real joint mechanism btween the dashboard and the rest of the interior to glue properly. Fit of body to chassis is minor pain. The typeface of the number plates supplied was not correct to genuine JDM Plates

Verdict:

It's OK. Neither Fujimi's best nor it's worst. It's not difficult to build.

Build notes:

I began this in January 2019 and after painting it white was not thrilled with the finish. I left it alone for 12 months deciding what to do and then continued with the white after all - it makes a good VIP colour. There are many additions to what was in the box to make this look like a more modern VIP minivan. The bodywork has had extra parts made for side skirts and front lip. The steering wheel is changed, there are extra decals applied, including the numbers on the number plates. The wheels are changed and also hubs converted to accept male fitment wheels. The body sits lower onto the chassis than out-of-the-box. Chrome trim is applied in various places. Colour is Tamiya TS-7 Racing white which is not a colour I'll be using again. It's really thin paint requiring endless coats to get it to cover even white primer. Any polishing polishes right through. It gets grubby easily with any handling (as has any other white model I've made). The photos hide any grubbiness happily.
